any health guru here can advise............read a lot about both but still unsure which one is better for insulin resistance.............trying to reduce blood sugar level after a meal lah.................:(

Suggest you go for the usual medicines and not to experiment on not properly tested remedies.
 
To avoid sugar rush before ending up obese or diabetic, avoid, reduce or substitute daily diet of refined food like polished rice, refined white flour. Remove sugar from your drinks like sugarless soya-milk or chin-chow, teh kosong. Stay away from fast foods, its their salty deep fried food, fizzy soft drinks that keep you hooked. Idiots consider that bliss state comfort food. Combine with exercise. If lazy, take prescribed meds like insulin injections before meals, metformin that works on the liver, glucobay that slow rapid digestion of carbs, xenical that prevent absorption of fat. The aim of meds is to prolong your life span and delay debilitating disease like blindness, kidney failure, foot ampututation. Impotence is the new normal also. Cost of medicine are high and many companies are capping limits for chronic diseases. Please feel free to think a cheap bottle of chromium & magnesium from Mustafa Centre will solve one of our biggest medical crisis.

Everyone suffers from too having too much sugar. It's when you get older that the serious symptoms will be seen e.g. wear & tear caused by sugar & in more serious cases type 2 diabetes.

With regards to whether chromium or magnesium is more effective. The body needs all the minerals to function properly.

There are of course many other drugs but metformin is cheap & has fewer side effects. You just have to remember to take it 30 minutes before a meal.

just ordered chromium polynicotinate..........................supposedly better and safer than picolinate..................


i also ordered glucomannan powder.....................but will use only if chromium fails.............


also ordered magnesium oil......................supposedly far far more effective than pills..................
