This rat found itself in a really tight spot, as it was subsequently trapped in the space it was hiding in, says Huda, who spotted the rodent while she was dining with her family in a Simei food court.

The STOMPer was having a late breakfast with her family on Mar 10, at about 11 am, when she saw the rat with its tail sticking out from a dark space in front of a noodle stall.

She told STOMP:

"My mom, aunt, cousin and me was having our late breakfast at Banquet Eastpoint, Simei.

"The incident happened at the stall Prawn noodle.

"The rat was trapped inside the narrow gap and only the tail was revealed.

"Someone from the next stall came out and took a black plastic bag with him.

"He trapped the rat with the black plastic bag and tried to pull the rat out,as

"It was impossible and so the rat escaped."
