Where to get a Segway in Spore?

Thinking about alternative ways to get around. Is there a Segway distributor in Spore?

It seems to be as small as a foldable bicycle, so can it be taken into buses,/mrt

I read that Jackie Chan distributes it, that's why he was asked to promote them on Sentosa.

But definitely not as small as foldable bicycle!

segway is pretty heavy. around 20kg? not something you want to be carrying around.

go try it at science centre, see whether you like it or not. maybe can get info from them where to get it too.

Base on spec of Segway website. The lightest one wt at 47+ kg and the off road model 54 or 57+... More heavy then a mm... Anybody 1 2 hand carry 1 around?

My friend working under that department before let me try. Got big version and small version. Big version go quite fast, I think they trying to push to allow on pavements. But cannot go up steps probably, esp most SG steps which are high.

Its quite exp too, forgot, but definitely 10k at least. Maybe around 20k.

Quite fun though. Can use for other recreational purposes, like a tireless replacement for bicycle

Yes, US$10K+ excluding shipping, no service in SG.

For that price might as well consider getting a motorcycle, but I think the roads are too dangerous.
