Where to find a good old porridge?

I'm craving for porridge!!!! any good recommendations? not referring to frog porridge those kind, i want those pork porridge.

I'm giving a long shot, has anyone eaten pork porridge at Queen Street many many years? it's a roadside stall that sold the best porridge i've ever had :(:(:(:(

If I am not wrong you mean Tion Shian Porridege Centre? The address is No.265 New Bridge Road S088745. Opening hrs from 8am to 4am and they do serve some good porride including pork porridge.

yes half hour wait sometimes.

What I cannot find anymore are the old style porridge cooked by ma cheahs of old.

That 30-minute wait I experienced before, on recommendation of my friend who belanjah anyway. However, I don't think worth the wait. So-so only.

Go home cook a packet of Maggie instant porridge tastes better. If in Thailand or Golden Mile, look for Benja brand instant porridge; Mama brand not as good.

Bro I sincerely recommend u the stall at Alexandra Rd hawker centre @ Bukit Merah Lane manned by 2 tall handsome guys near where the motor car workshops/repair shops are located. Always packed during weekends! Sold out by afternoons. Another one u can consider is at Tiong Bahru Rd hawker centre. Let your own tastebuds decide lah! Enjoy.

If you want cheap and the best, peanuts porridge, go to PPC market at Smith st. $1-00 per bowl. In the morning only, next to the main large staircase from the main entrance 2nd storey. You see many people queuing up, dont forget to order mee hoon to go along with it. If you want pig intesting porridge, just around the corner shop at the large opening, you can order yue shen.
