Seems like this be beverage went off the radar for a long, long time. Wonder why it can't compete with Milo ?

Horlicks is 46% wheat and contains sugar, palm oil, E551 and synthetic vitamins. Far from being nutritious.

You can't compete with the marketing might of Nestle, which owns Milo and many other products.
They used to do a lot of promotions in schools, eg. sponsor free drinks for sports days, etc

Then now many schools banned Milo from their drink stalls.

Ovaltine now being produced in thailand. Its cheaper than milo. But somehow, they are not promoting it.maybe Thai market is sufficient for them.

I stopped drinking Horlicks after my teen years. It just die a quiet death in my life.
I only remember it was a very heaty beverage. My body feels very hot after a while. I suspect it has some aphrodisiac properties.

What a waste of wheat in producing Horlicks. They are better used to make gin, vodka, bourbon, whiskey.

I think it is the sugar level in your body and not aphrodisiac
