SINGAPORE: The recent Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease outbreak in pre-schools and kindergartens in Singapore has become every parents' nightmare.
So wash products maker, Dettol, is addressing this problem through a programme which builds awareness about personal hygiene among young children.
Called the Hand Hygiene programme, it will start from the basics such as learning the proper way to wash hands in a fun and interactive manner.
The company will be mobilising educational teams to visit 10 pre-schools and kindergartens, reaching out to 1,200 children.
The children will be provided with basic information about germs and how they can protect themselves against infections.
