What You Think Are the Retirement Plans For PAP MPs

Now that the Opposition are contesting in all wards which never happened before, these MPs should be shaking in their pants and already making plans what to do if they are not elected/re-elected. Will they continue to stay here in Singapore or will they move to their second homes in Aus, USA or Canada? Since they have many Malaysian friends, they might move to Malaysia. What do you think?

I think you might be right for by now he should be sick of hearing about peanuts. After all he has more than enough peanuts after making promises that never see light of day.

Possibly LHL might be chauffeuring wife and carry her bags to work. Although hopefully after the GE tsunami those in SPH, Temasek and Palace these people will be shown the exit door.

We all know they have build up a nice nest egg after all these years plus pensions and all the goodies they approved for themselves. How to hold your head up high after being voted out? If Bala knocked out after GE, how to look at people in the face. Sure malu. Same goes for all those back door politicians, where to show face even if have lots of money? Who knows if opposition takes over all those perks may be forcibly removed as these are taken from the people without consent.

They may be financially comfortable even if they are unseated, but it may be humiliating for them.
Some of them may have difficulties resolving their inner conflicts for years.

It's not only an election loss, even ministars who have stepped down before their time for retirement, have seldom been seen or heard from in public.

Never seen a ministar along the street, but I've seen Lily Neo driving her mercedes along orchard road.
