PAP will target to win votes from:

:p 1. Women voters (consist of 50% of voters) by keep improving the women's charter. It will make women feel so protected and so well taken care of that they will vote for PAP.

2. Lower class (consist of 20% of voters) by throwing money at them just before the election. This group consist of the security guards, cleaners, odd job workers are very poor but still got job and doing OK. But this group has very short memory. When they suddenly receive the 'election bonus' of few hundred dollars, they become so high that their vote goes to PAP.

So PAP firmly secures 70% of the votes as long as they take care of these two groups, enough to win election already.

Therefore, the remaining 'unwanted minority' 30% who are men in the middle class can curse and swear and complain all you want, the PAP don't care. In fact, since you are not going to vote for the PAP, the PAP might as well squeeze you very dry. Make you do reservist, get FTs to replace you, increase the price of property, car, ERP, petrol, education, GST, MRT fares, suppress wage increase, make you attend trainings .... and to add salt on wounds, PAP blames you for not making enough babies.

They won't get all 50% of women vote and all 20% of lower class vote.
But if you include all pappies and their friends and families, grassroots leaders, most civil servants, rich businessmen and corporate people who don't give a damn about their fellow citizens and are comfortable with their own lives, newly minted citizens who are "grateful", uncles and aunties who just can't be bothered with change and would like to be left alone to buy 4D, some elderlies and retirees who think the world of LKY, people who benefit from this government and their style and policies, asslickers and lapdogs, etc etc, I think they will easily get 50% of the eligible valid votes, even without any swings.

3. Uppper class (consist of 10% of voters) by making policies to make the rich richer. They include top civil servants, bankers, army generals, lawyers. These people are so happy making millions after millions and are thankful to PAP to make them so rich.

Therefore, those screwed are the middle income men. You men are the minority!
