What If PAP Lost Aljunied GRC

I agreed with the PM that Foreign Ministry is a very important portfolio of government. I have a suggestion here ...

In the event that George and his moribund bunch got voted out of Aljunied GRC, the PAP (barring a freak election result) should seriously consider appointing Low Thia Khiang to be the foreign minister. This will definitely strengthened the bi-partisanship in our "First World Parliament" (much as the United States having a Democratic Party's President Obama and a Republican Defense Secretary Robert Gate)!

Sylvia Lim
can also takeover Lim Hwee Hua portfolio. This way, the country gains two calibre ministers and the residents of Aljunied GRC continued to retain two voices in cabinet!

Zainul Abidin Rasheed can run for the Elected Presidency ...anyway, it's about time for a Malay President!

This is the best win-win solution for its embroiled the concept of "A First World Parliament" as well as "A First Rate Parliamentarians". No need to squabble, no threats, no gutter politics ... we rule happily as one united people, regardless of race, language or religion ...Majulah Singapura!

Slyvia can be Speaker. Thne she will keep calling on Opposition MPs to speak and no PAP MP will be allowed to speak.

See role of the Speaker--http://www.parliament.gov.sg/speaker-parliament

Think a more relevant qn wd be What if WP loses?

i am no mole, nor am i a PAP poodle. in fact, I wish they wd lose 20 seats in this election.
But sentiments on the ground, while hostile, are also divided and volatile.

Sinkies are thick in their heads and slow to learn from history.
For all you know, parliament could just return with zero opposition.
Vehemence and loud voices at rallies dun count for much. Just look back at 4 yrs ago!

I was reserving the post of Speaker of Parliament for Mr. Chen Show Moa. Slyvia working as a Minister in the Prime Minister's office is more interesting .. hehe!
