This is not possible, at least for now after so many years of tight grip by PAP. The most PAP gets is losing a few seats and a slip in the percentage of votes. In any case, opposition is just as good as anyone from PAP, if not, better. If the current incumbent can run the country like that, I see no reason how could the opposition do any worse. I only see arrogance and ego at work when we see ruling party ministers side-stepping serious issues by totally dismissing the cries and pleas of the people with absurd stories of how their policies were able to propel the country. I really urge Singaporean to steel their heart and vote for a change. We have given enough of many 5 yrs to some party that repeatedly failed us. If we could spare them 5 yrs chance, definitely we could spare some new and passionate candidates a 5 yrs chance too. We still can throw them off if they prove to be non-genuine. We are not obsessed with change but it will and has to come naturally when the conditions call for it. I think it is now - 7 MAY, Singapore's 'Independence' Day!
