What has LHL done exactly?

Since the last election when he threatened to fix the oppostion. I can't think of anything he has done todate beside cycling, cutting ribbons, giving superficial speeches and watching F1 races. Most of the year he just could not be seen. Is he now working hard behind closed door to see what best excuses to increase his bonus and salaries while private sectors are suffering from financial crisis? Has he achieved anything substantial to help peasants other than prolong and increase SingaporeAN sufferings?
