[h=2]What exactly do "Unionists" do in Singapore?[/h]
The Ong guy and Choo guy both have degrees from top overseas unis.

Seems a big waste for them to work in NTUC. Or is NTUC a holding place for people while they run for politics?

they do the 'toe ' dance....its a kind of line dance where everybody toes the line.

Make no mistake about it: they are PAP's agent with the mission of glossing over sgians' rights when it comes to the crunch. Example: private sectors conned into offering Re-employment at 62 for workers with "satisfactory" work performance while AUPE endorsed Public Service Division's demands of "good" work performance before civil serpents or stat board slaves can be re-employed.
Why the double standard & why the same union AUPE demand a looser standard but bent to PSD's demand of good work performance for re-employments??????????????????

You mean you don't know???????

Here's your answer :

Besides singing off key, unionists are required to dress up in fancy costumes..

they travel to outside singapore on the pretext of meetings and abuse union funds instead of really protecting workers' rights!

yes...go malaysia...taiwan....all sorts of nice places...for conference or retreat....actually its just disguised rewards for toeing the line.

Unionists are also required to provide "Beca" transport services...

haha they like the dance too i guess...but no choice leh...stuck with loand up to their necks....so gotta dance.

The backsides of the SINgapore workers are much more well done that yesterday, if you take away all the material benefits, entrance to 'bom chat chat' ( toe dance), promotes gambling amongst supermarket aunties - Tombola, Jack pot ( my relative lost $10,000) what else, discount at supermarkets etc ( NTUC, maybe in the future S.S.). Their rights as workers of course, they are 'protected' it is watered down & slanted towards employers. They are tone deaf these days like their 'leader'...and maybe hard of sight or blind in one ear.

thats the lot of the sinkie worker....probably be this way for a long long time.
