What Lawless Wong really wanted to say
If you're a PAP PLP, the following will be good news to you.
* more condominiums and HDB flats will be built. Mininum number of storeys will be 40; the maximum number? The sky's the limit (literally)
* houses and flats that have reverted to state control will be demolished and new condos and HDB flat of at least 40 storeys tall will be built
* more citizenships will be given out taking the total number of inhabitants to 8 million by 2040 and 10 million by 2050
* GDP will increase exponentially which is good news to the PAP
* more polyclinics will have to be built to cater to an ever increasing number of naturalized Sinkies. Remember: naturalised Sinkies are still subject to the laws of nature. They do become old and infirm
* more desalination plants will be built
* nuclear power plants will be built
But what Lawless Wong didn't tell Sinkies is
* land in Sinkapore is finite in size. Sinkieland isn't Bolehland, Ah Tiong land or Ah Neh land
* inhabitants will be living cheek by jowl and have the feeling that they are living in cages. Shopping malls will be more crowded with people. Crime rates will go up.
* GST increases are inevitable because money is needed for infrastructure building and redevelopment. According to Lawless Wong, he promises a GST increase will take place in 2030 or shortly thereafter. The estimated GST rate will be 11%
* longer wait times at polyclinics and public hospitals for the sick because of a lack of physicians and medical specialists to treat the increase in numbers of naturalized Sinkies (remember that the PAP gabrament blamed the low fertility rate on locally-born Sinkies; hence the need to naturalise vast numbers of foreigners)
* costs of living will increase. The price of a "budget meal" at a food centre a.k.a. hawker centre will be at least $5.50 by 2030 (it's $3.50 in 2024. According to the SCM, in 2024 Members of Parleement have been "gently coercing" food vendors at state-controlled hawker centres to provide at least a budget meal costing $3.50)
* costs of supply of water and electricity to homes will increase
* more traffic congestion on the roads. COE prices will increase
* GINI coefficient will increase (the wealth gap will become wider)
* more shophouses, good-class bungalows, luxury apartments will be bought by naturalised Sinkies who originally hail from Ah Tiong land and Ah Neh land
* 80% of Sinkies who are born and raised here will never have the chance to own landed property or upgrade to condominiums. They will be condemned to live in public housing flats for the rest of their lives
