Big Shot's chauffeur breaks multiple traffic rules -- for 'convenience' of boss
This chauffeur-driven car, supposedly owned by a senior civil servant, takes up one lane of this underground carpark daily, posing a risk to other motorists. When questioned, the chauffeur said he does this for the boss's convenience.
Here's what the upset STOMPer wrote in an email today:
"Does being a civil servant give you the right to ignore laws and cause inconvenience to others?
"The car in the pictures always parks at the double yellow line and as a result a 2-way lane has become a 1-way one.
"In addition, it parks near the wall, in a blind spot for cars making a left turn to exit.
"I almost had a collision with another vehicle because of this inconsiderate act.
"When I asked the chauffeur about it, he said did this for the convenience of his boss, who apparently is a high-ranking civil servant."
