SDP releases two secret weapons at noon today:

On this final day of campaigning of GE 2011 the SDP, for the first time in its history, will hold a downtown lunchtime rally at the UOB Plaza next to the Singapore River today from 12-2 pm. We will introduce two high profile speakers: Associate Professor Paul Tambyah and former NTUC Income CEO Mr Tan Kin Lian.

Prof Tambyah being head of the Infectious Disease department at NUH will speak about the SDP's Shadow Healthcare Plan which is spear-headed by SDP Sembawang GRC candidate Dr James Gomez.

Mr Tan Kin Lian, who led the quest to help thousands who had lost their savings in toxic financial instruments in the 2008 economic meltdown, will endorse the SDP Holland-Bukit Timah GRC candidate Mr Tan Jee Say's economic plan.

The other speakers are Mr John Tan, Dr Ang Yong Guan, Ms Michelle Lee and Dr Vincent Wijeysingha.

We have our final rally tonight at the Woodlands Stadium at Sembawang GRC. Come support the winning 11. Its your one last chance to support the SDP before the PAP closes political speeches for the next 5 years.

do not forget about the foreign links chee soon juan has. he has never come clear how he gets his dole from. he claims from his books and "researches". u believe? his books were long been removed fr KINOKUNIYA shelves. they couldn't sell. it just wasted precious display spaces.

about his researches funded by foreign entities. only the latter words: FUNDED BY FOREIGN ENTITIES stay true for some imaginary researches chee used as an excuse for the financing he receives continuously fr his FOREIGN ENTITIES. that's how he got all his living allowances. in return, he has to think of ways to discredit the gov so that singapore would be put in bad limelight and this created anger and hatred especially fr USA against sgp.

finally , DO NOT FORGET what chee was trying to do during US president obama's inauguration. he sent him a videoclip and instigating him to trade sanction singapore during the time where there was chronic economic downturn.

HOW CAN SDP BE GOOD AND PRO-SINGAPORE?

ask yourself this question. check with those around you about the notoriety and hypocrisy of SDP. and ignore SDP totally! vote any other opp parites. leave our SDP or we shall be sorrier than voting in the pap

I just reached home from this rally.

The SDP fellas were treated like Rock Stars, including CSJ who had a long queue of autograph seekers after the event. As usual, when names like MBT are mentioned, the jeers of derison from the crowd was obvious. But for the first time, I actually heard jeers too when HLH's name was mentioned. The crowd laughed when the speaker said "I feel so apologetic when I mention his name." THAT is how bad the situation has become, apology notwithstanding to almost the same Shenton Way crowd who heard the apology on Tuesday.

The event finished at around 2-30 but when I left at 3-00pm there was still a sizeable crowd hanging around with each of the SDP candidates 'entertaining' their own group of well-wishers.

For me the highlight of the rally was Dr Ang has an old man who insisted on having his picture taken with Dr Ang. While this was happening, Dr Ang told all and sundry that the old man was his principal at some Queenstown school.

PAP is the one that is promoting Gay issue not SDP. They think Gay has FTalent.
The government think gay are more talented in the art and they welcome them with open hand.
If you are a Singaporean and you are gay, I accept you (does not mean I accept your behavior) but if you are foreigner, I do not welcome you at all.

can go to www.ge.sg and see all the sdp videos for today afternoon's rallies. i must say sdp speakers all done very well.

special mention james gomez though there were some moments i sweat for him as he a bit chee soon juan like in his questioning of lhl. the shades of 'where is the $' comes to my mind. but overall a very good job from sdp.
