A mother-of-two has quit her job as a burger waitress to become a Duchess of Cambridge lookalike.Heidi Agan, 32, is constantly mistaken for the Duchess, in fact even her three-year-old daughter can’t tell the two women apart.She now charges up to £650 for public appearances as the future Queen.

'People would point and say "that’s her"': Heidi was often mistaken for the Duchess while waitressing
Heidi decided to leave her job as a waitress at her local Frankie and Benny’s, where she earned just over £6 an hour, after customers repeatedly remarked that she looked remarkably similar to the Duchess. ‘People would come in and point at me and say “that’s her”’, says Heidi.
‘I’ve had other people come up to me during jobs convinced I’m Kate.‘When my daughter sees her in a magazine she points and says “there you are mummy’”‘She’s turned into a right little royalist.’

She joined London-based agency Susan Scott Lookalikes in February and has stocked up on some of the Duchess’s most memorable dresses, including the blue Issa dress she wore as she and Prince William announced their engagement, as well as her favorite shoes and accessories. However Heidi says she won’t be following her lead by being caught topless.‘I felt really bad for Kate when the photos were published as she was on a private trip with her husband,’ says Heidi.‘If someone had done that to me I would go to the police. She and William don’t get any time out and they were just trying to be a normal couple. It’s a terrible invasion of their privacy.

‘I haven’t been asked to go topless on any of the jobs yet - and I certainly wouldn’t do it because I’m a mum-of-two!’Heidi, who lives in Corby, Northamptonshire, with son Blake, 10, and daughter Abigail, says the strangest request she’s had so far is to play a game of Twister with lookalikes of Prince William and the Queen for a photo-shoot.‘I guess people want to put us in real-life situations that they would never see the Royal Family in, like playing Twister,’ she adds.‘It’s a huge difference from working in a restaurant and it pays better. It’s a really fun job as I’m doing something different every day.'
