Viswa still the same. Dreamy eyed, believes in the PAP, extracts the majority of his business income from the establishment - Civil Service, GLC,s put up his hand for PAP MP, failed and now doing a speech similar to Davinder, Shanmugam and Viv B and got fried for it.

Old man still thinks he is fighting the communist and honestly believes that without him, the country will collapse overnight.

Was Viswa ever selected for PAP candidacy? From what I know, he was against the idea and tried to discourage Viv B from taking it up when offered. Anyway once he becomes NMP that is as good as no more PAP MPship.

Yes, he was in the line up and faltered at the final hurdle. They even placed him in a known PAP MP nursery for income purposes - SPH Research Dept. The same department that paid for Irene Ng, Abdullah Tarmuggi and many others when they embarked on their MP journey.

Viswa is one of those who is singaporean to the core and associates PAP with Singapore in every sense of the word.

Both Viswa and Viv were keen to be in politics from their NS days. They would have been encouraging each other rather than the other way around. Viv was actually placed in the contrarian list to be included while Viswa was in the party list to be included. As you know, the contrarian list was created to bring people that have strong views about PAP practices but still want to be in the same. Either they change it from inside or they get changed.

Viswa is not playing to the gallery but for nearly 30 years of his life believed that PAP follows the democratic policy. He is neither an apologist but someone with rose-tinted glasses that thinks PAP is the way of life and are prepared to work with the people. Its the last part that he got wrong.

Aiyah, this viswa is a pappy dog all along. This viswa helped the pappies to demolish tang liang hong when viswa was running the pappies feedback unit.

What the pappies are trying to achieve with this wayang is to warn people against talking against the pappies and their policies - even a NMP will kenna humtum, what more a mere mortal like you if you want to say something to the government. The irony is that viswa used to run the feedback unit to collate material from the public and then bring these material to the pappies. I am certain viswa and lky are buddies from a long time ago.

With this wayang the pappies also help to sell the idea that we don't need opposition parties since the NMP system is in place to speak up for the people BUT only for as long as they speak without questioning the pappies.

Never, ever trust a pappy dog. They are a fascist socio-political party. When the opposition starts attacking the pappies as a fascist socio-political party and attacks lky and nanthan as fair-weather singaporeans instead of people with the dignity and morals to rule a country then that is the day the opposition in sinkieland will be noticed.

Sinkies need to know what fascism means, what ideals fascism favors and how such a machinery affects them. All this talk about democracy is to hide the fascist politcies of the pappies. Every entity has good and bad. the oppo has to target the most vile aspects of the pappies and this starts fromlky being a fair-weather sinkie by working for the kempetei, forcing thousands of sinkies to use his wive's law firm for all HDB related puschases for a many number of years, and the way he treats his political enemies. Sinkies can tell him to F**OFF as they don't want such a leader.
