There are two kinds of people in this world: Those who drink just one cup of tea and those who enjoy many cups (or those who just keep refilling hot water for one tea bag :p)

If you're the type of person who finds one tea sachet too strong for a cup, someone has discovered that you can actually split the tea bag in two, and save one-half for another time.

A TikTok video posted by @sandra.bella.5891 shows her using her fingers to pry apart the tea bag at the top then snipping the bottom half to create two bags!

In the video, she uses Lipton Yellow Label tea. Unfortunately, it appears that this hack only works with specific tea bags.

We tested it out on a different brand to see if it works and these are the results:

Instead of a sealed middle that you can easily cut, this tea bag was one long bag, making it difficult to split.

After the video went viral, people had mixed reactions towards the discovery

Some said that one tea bag is not even strong enough for their taste buds, let alone half a bag.

Still, others were amazed and thanked her for letting them know.

The video has received over two million plays on TikTok, and a repost of the video on Facebook has since racked up 12,000 shares.
