Vietnamese duo caught pickpocketing

SINGAPORE: A 20-year-old Vietnamese man and a 60-year-old Vietnamese woman, believed to be involved in several pickpocketing cases, were arrested on Thursday.
They were caught at about 2.30pm in the vicinity of a shopping mall along Victoria Street, when they were spotted following closely behind a passer-by.
The 60-year-old woman was noted looking into the bag of the passer-by while the man kept watch.
They were detained after the woman extended her right hand into the bag and walked away with her accomplice.
Officers seized four ez-link cards, two mobile phones and three micro SB memory cards that are believed to have been stolen by the duo.
