It is basically very stupid to give in to those conditions. It was the annexation of Crimea which leads to Bloodymir Putin to be so daring to start the current war in Feb 2022. So, if Ukraine were to give more lands away, it'll only be a matter of time before Russia will again make another attempt to invade Ukraine within a few years later. This is only giving Russia more time to build up its forces.
