I'm a cop, chased a suspect for 8 blocks once over fences, through yards. I caught him and cuffed him. Next thing I know, I'm waking up in an ambulance. I had COPD and they said my lungs had shut down. They said the suspect was kneeling beside me, still cuffed, banging his head on my chest. I spoke up for him at his trial and the judge gave him probation. He was a good kid that just made a mistake.
