inaccurate and imbalanced comparisons lah. as a visitor, it’s comparably cheap for makan at tw’s street food stalls and sg’s hawker centers. in terms of pubic transportation it’s also comparably cheap. main differences are in 3-star and 6.9-star hotel rates and high end western dining, where sg tops both categories. on a budget, there are always affordable options.
