Prof Mersheimer already predicted the outcome of this silly US intervention in Ukraine and provoking Mother Russia. A nuclear war. Neither side wants to lose. And as war drags on, it will Escalate until eventually one side starts to lose. A superpower cannot be seen losing a war. Best to Ensure both side loses.
