I have ventured to northern Sabah.
It's beaches are pristine white minute white soft sand and crystal clear waters. Probably like some singapore before ingrates landed there and destroyed the eco system.
Only problem with Sabah is lack of power due to too much fragmented politics and corruption. You have kadazan dusun, Muruts, bajaus, Sulu, Chinese. And these elected reps jump from one coalition to another.
So no power means no hotels or resort can be built. No factories despite facing china shores on the other end of the sea. So no jobs. State remains poor.
Najib planned a 300 MW power plant but when he was unseated, DAP cancelled it. So that is the tragedy of Sabah
