Bro, this happens all the time in Tokyo. I was out at a nomikai with some colleagues in Roppongi and I saw the same thing. These 2 guys were trying so hard to take home this girl that was passed out. It was crazy. I got involved and started asking questions, they said they were her colleague but couldn't even tell me her name. I started yelling for the keisastu, and then turned back around and they were gone. They took her purse and vanished. I carried her on my back all the way to the closest koban. It was about 7 blocks away. I had to go with them to the hospital since they could not identify her. Turns out she had been drugged when she was in a bar that was nearby mine. We have now been close friends for about 3 years and I have no regrets about my decision to act on my suspicions. I now ALWAYS observe my surrounding when I go out. Girls in Japan get raped all the time but can never file a report because police in Japan never believe them and really don't care. If they file a report the case deadends and eventually gets filled away forever. Japan is probably one of the worst places in the world for sex crime. It's one of those mind blowing unbelievable things about Japan that you would never know until you live here.
