Taiwanese influencer Maze Lin (林嘉凌) has always been known for her bold and sexy persona. While the public figure, known best as Qiang Qiang (薔薔), isn’t shy about showing off her body, her revealing outfits unfortunately got her in trouble with the Singaporean authorities.

Maze spoke about the experience during a recent appearance on the Taiwanese talk show “Queen (女人我最大)”. The influencer was introducing her collection of short pants for a segment when she admitted that she once owned a pair of very short pants that looked almost like underwear.

Unfortunately, Maze revealed that she no longer owns said pair of shorts because they were confiscated during a trip to Singapore a few years ago.

According to Maze, she wore those shorts to visit an entertainment venue in the country. While she was walking in public, a police officer approached her. The 33-year-old initially thought the officer wanted to compliment her – but that wasn’t the case. It turns out that the officer was reporting her for “disturbing public morals” because her shorts were too revealing and inappropriate for public wear.
As a result of the report, the police confiscated Maze’s shorts as evidence. The content creator lamented that the shorts are “stuck in a ziplock bag” and can never return to Taiwan. Maze also revealed the shorts were one of her favourite pairs, adding, “They were very popular at the time and paired well with fishnet stockings.” She also said she couldn’t find a similar-looking short, so she had to accept they’re gone forever.

It’s always sad to have to give away a favourite clothing item. On the bright side, Maze now has access to all the fashionable clothes her heart desires – so maybe she’ll find a new favourite pair of shorts.
