We received a tip off from a COOS member that there will be a special prayer session for Dr Alan Chin, the husband of new AWARE President Josie Lau in the evening service of the Church of Our Savior on 25 April 2009.

We sent 4 field reporters to attend the service to record the event. Three of them managed to record the gist of the pastor’s speech on homosexuality.

The ible is explicit in that homosexuality, a form of sexual depravity is indeed a sin. If you want to practice it and persuade others to do so then that is your cause. As it is your cause to promote a gay lifestyle you should also accord others, including Christians, their ways to promote their lifestyle.

Why are gays so keen to attack the churches when they should spend time on their own causes whihch is indeed outside of Biblical teachings. If you have problems with the Bible then so be it. Don't be silly and attack churches.

You should understand that there are fundamental differences. Instead of harking on these differences, you should look into areas where there is common ground, if need be.

It is obvious that the two will not meet eye to eye. Why look towards anger and abusive behaviour when you should seek your own needs and rights without making personal attacks.

The churches have a right to teach as per the Bible. Arguing against them is a waste of your time and everyone else's unless you are only intent on creating unnecessary trouble for both sides.

Get a life and move on. And your troubles are not only with the CHurches but also with othe faiths that see homosexuality as a sin.

if PAP is inclusive, then asshole loong should talk to the gays and listen to what they say.

I do not understand your logic.

The Bible says very clearly that homosexuality is a sin.

And so do Muslims. And so do Jews.

Because Muslims, Christians and Jews share one common source of scripture.


But what's the relevance here?

That a christian conspiracy abounds?

Why not point to disagreements on casino and abortion too as evidence of conspiracy.



The issue here is whether Aware as an organization was used to promote homosexuality.

If it is, then that is the concern at hand - that an influential activist organization has now become a vehicle to promote the cause of homosexuality.

If it is not, then the new Aware was wrong.

So address the primary issue - are they trying to prevent an influential activist organization from being subverted by homosexuals.

If they are, then the conspiracy is on the part of the homosexuals and their sympathizers.

Keep to the issue - is there a secular subversion of an influential organization?

They think that their way is the only way. The normal people do not understand them and they should be leader for them and take th lead if necessacy. if they not doing their job, we will take over and rule over them, simple as that.

The only reason why they have not gone against some others is probably because they are afraid of breaking the law.
