muslims don't have the exclusive right to religious violence. It is a function of religious superiority. Humans feel ok to inflict violence on other humans by downgrading the victim's humanity. Leaving race out of the argument for the moment, religion is a huge instigator to perpetuate violence on other humans.

It just so happens in 20XX, Muslims have a higher incidence of religious violence. You wind the clock back before Israel came into existence, no such thing. Actually the British can be traced as the source responsible for all this crap. Wind the clock back further to the Crusades and you will see that it's Christians. Really I can go on forever, but religion is a big instigator to violence. In the right hands and conditions it can be a big instigator to peace too. Depends on the time we live in.
