Due to the ban in Singapore, we don't see retail store selling e-liquid vaps refills. In some countries, even reputable cigarettes brand sell refill vaps in convenience stores.

Now vaping getting very popular, see people vaping in outdoor dining, in army camps, in uni, smoking alleys, offices, in trains, in bus or even cars in Singapore.

Is vaping really less harmful than smoking?

Two years ago when I visit Indonesia, there were so many versions and favours, mint, fruity, etc. It came to my mind that many of these are unbranded, from China, which might have questionable chemicals.

Then again, I asked myself, is there really such a thing called "harmless chemicals" used by the reputable brands?

Less harmful but not totally harmless.

It will be legal in sg once they figured out how to tax the apparatus and the juice, and the laws governing the mist emission. Because it is technically not smoking.

The pap is not one to miss out on a money making opportunity.

Indeed. The pappies are the kind who will pimp out their own mothers for some extra pocket money.

It's less harmful because the nicotine is lesser and they use organic oil and flavoring. Many of my friends vape and they felt better in terms of breathlessness and not so bad for the throat /coughing. It's just water vapor and not exactly smoke.

Lots of selling in carousell they put the pics there but they don't put the words 'vape' that's all. They'll just drop it in your letterbox or doorstep like Grab. lol......

Lots of controversies because nowadays drugs like LSD also sell in vape form, even marijuana lol........

There's a vape that gives you an orgasm now exists

The Vapegasm combines sexual stimulation with vaping through a technology that allowed users to control the vibrations of their sex toy using their vape. Essentially, the longer your drag, the longer the sensation lasts. lol.........

Like its peers British American Tobacco (Malaysia) Bhd and JT International Bhd (JTI Malaysia), PMM is adopting a wait-and-see approach until there is an appropriate regulatory framework for nicotine vaping before it introduces other RRPs such as vape products to Malaysia.

“Today, vapes are illegal in Malaysia. There are a lot of discussions going on to legalise the vaping industry. Once they are legalised, we will have a vape product available but at this point in time, we are focused on our HNB products [IQOS],” says Naeem.

Vape players have spent years calling for the government to regulate the industry. Yet, sales of vaporiser liquids containing nicotine and e-cigarettes remain illegal at the federal level, although they are openly sold and easily accessible.

In January this year, the government imposed a 10% excise duty on all cigarette devices, both electronic and non-electronic. In addition, an excise duty of 40 sen per ml of vape liquids without nicotine was imposed. More recently, the authorities announced that they will introduce an excise duty of RM1.20 per ml on vape liquids containing both nicotine and non-nicotine from Jan 1, 2022.

No nicotine and nicotined should be two different animals totally.

One is no different from just a sip of tea or jasmine tea or rose flavored tea because there's no nicotine in it and not damaging to health and addictive like cigarettes. Ofc based on that the juice or oil used is safe and organic and not dangerous chemical.

I think none nicotined vape should be totally legal and be allowed only those nicotined should be treated exactly like ciggys in terms of tax and danger to health. :)

I know even many hardcore smokers are turning to vaping now.
Because the vap refills too cheap, even resellers make 10 fold profits, it is still affordable.
Likewise weed prices also dropped so much from $50 a stick to $30 since Covid-19.

Banned in Singapore following US regulations. Vaping was common in US from 2016 until a mysterious respiratory illness broke out in April 2019, causing over 2700 hospitalisation and 60 deaths. Authorities identified black market cartridges with illegal cannabis as the culprit. COVID wasn't identified then.

Iqos is tobacco heated but not burn. Japan is selling this everywhere and their smoking population drops by alot.

S'poreans go to JB to buy cheap vape

The price is one-third of what it costs to buy vape, also known as e-cigarettes, illegally in Singapore. Singaporeans can spend some RM300 (S$95.40) during each visit, ST reported.

Singaporeans interviewed said they go to Johor Bahru to patronise vape stores for the novelty of the experience due to the absence of such commercial entities in Singapore and because it is cheap and convenient.
