Real calendar is Lunar calendar that aligns accurately with the Lunar eclipse
that's why VD is celebrated mostly by couples during courtship .... not so much by those married couples .... its intended to find a night to official de-flower their new girlfriends or inseminate their existing girlfriends without guilt and doing it together with fellow men in the same night .... fit the original practice.
