All scholars had gotten placement in the stream of their choice. The rest of the students consisting of Singaporean had to scramble for the balance. As a result, my friends daughter was not able to secure a place to do three science and one maths, despite having very good grades.
Meritoracy?? Don't make me laugh. MM Lee has always been changing the position of the goalpost. He can even redefine the pledge until it becomes an aspiration.
Needless to say, I have convinced my friend to vote opposition as we need a voice in parliament to 'contain' the PAP. My friend is from Bukit Panjang.

She missed by a few points I think, she appealed to whichever fucking gahment departments - EDU, MP, NUS, and the rest of the fucked up departments. But, to no avail.[/FONT]

Another one who was also in this gifted programme when she was in primary 3. She didnt do well in her PSLE. Rich family now she is in US.
Imagine the amount of money the government spent to groom these kids with a good headstart because of good family background and how many unfortunate intelligent children from poor family background that they have deprived because of their lop sided view.
