As I said before, there are many useless seniors working in sg and they doesn't add value to the job but add troubles to people.
Gov should just ban them from working or rather give them money to stay at home then to give people trouble.

If employers don't give seniors some form of work, then they will be collecting cardboard for a living, while PAP politicians go around claiming the elderly are doing so for "exercise".

My neighbour's wife came home early from work and found her maid's Bangla BF in her condo. She called the security guard, but he was too old and frail to detain the trespasser, who easily pushed him aside and fled the scene.

Agreed to a certain extent.
However we need to see case to case basis.
For this particular case, even the parent were to watch the kid, it can still happen when little shoe got trap. Unless the parent must carry their kid all the time when taking escalator.

I have seen security guard with pilot uniform. No less. Every details are the same.
Except the older ones wore it sloppily without ironing and over sized etc while the younger black ones wore a tailor fitting well ironed ones exactly like a pilot.
