US border patrols are now contending with a new threat.
Mexican border patrollers have intercepted a group of illegal Chinese immigrants; believed to be the biggest collection of non-Mexicans to cross the Mexican border.
The 261 illegals were arrested on the Arizona border near Tucson.
It is believed the Chinese paid from $30,000 to $70,000 to illegal smugglers to get them across the border so they could eventually work in the sweatshops and kitchens of New York and other major cities.
The journeys are usually organised by Asian mafias, who manage trips through Beijing, Rome, Caracas, Mexico City and on to the border.
