1) Apparently, one of the RC signs in Bedok Reservoir area had been taken down. The Town Council website is also down. And apparently the staff didn't turn up for work today. What is going on? Are all the PAP town council appointees running away? More clarity and transparency is needed. If there is no proper handover process, then it just smacks of unprofessionalism.
2) Apparently Low TK told reporters that he will be conducting his first Aljunied Meet-The-People session in a void deck. Again, why is this happening? Why is there no proper handover?
3) Pritam Singh said that he was considering abolishing all RCs because he didn't believe in the PAP's top-down approach. He said that they are considering a new structure that allows the MPs to interact more directly with the people. I wonder if this is going to happen? It's quite a big change and people may not receive it well.
4) Chen Show Mao said he would be doing walkabouts and talking to more people on a regular basis. However he said also that he had pressing concerns with regards to his family's relocation back to Singapore due to his kids PSLE this year. He said that if he had lost, they could take their time to do it, but now that he has won, it has become a pressing issue.
