Only recently , this unit was put up for sale , asking price , as high as their nasi lemak ! Shop was purchased few years ago at around $1.3million now asking for astronomical $3.2million?? Agent wasted his time and money advertising , no suckers in Singapore , all well informed and educated.

Now that report in papers highlighted son of Nasi lemak chain lost 1.8million and sued for $240k for non-payment , I can understand why price so high . Nasi lemak got good strategy , heard their supervisor telling staff not to sell until there is a long queue . Yet people so naive join queue to buy at exorbitant price of at least $4.50 for ordinary nasi lemak .

I always go hawker centre buy $1.20 per packet without otah and chicken wing, yet it is so much better than the oily Tg katong version which is so over-rated and pricey. Are their loyal clients paying for the casino losses incurred by the bodoh son? Why are these clients still patronising when there are good alternatives at a cheaper price? Beats me.
