The boys are running naked for a good cause.
Some 30 male members of the Alpha Phi Omega fraternity took part in the traditional "Oblation Run" at the University of the Philippines' suburban campus on Dec 15.
A similar event was staged in the university's Manila campus on Dec 10. Hundreds of students cheered as they ran naked around the university campus, wearing only gold masks which covered their faces.
The annual nude run is used to draw attention to the major issues of the day in the Philippines.
The fraternity dedicated this year’s run to protesting the recent budget cut for the university, which threatens the quality of education and may result in an increase in tuition fees, Reuters reported.
