I still remember the dubbed Japanese live action ultraman TV shows in the 80s.. ultraman would always fight with the monster until the low battery warning light starts flashing ... then still manage to win. Damn predictable

I think there was one episode he really died and went to ultraman heaven. and all the ultraman family were there to talk to him.

My Japanese colleagues some years back, gave me small poster that list the ULTRAMAN family tree. To ULTRAMAN is ______ didn't know have grandparents etc.

I remember watching ultraman when i was 6 years old or something on channel 10 malaysian channel dubbed in malay.
Ultraman dies in an episode and the channel broke for prayers to be continued 10mins after.

I was so devastated that ultraman died and i was walking aimlessly for the next 10 mins. The program resumed and ultraman came back to life.
My world was complete again.

drama mama. don't need to watch 69% of any episode. just watch the final fight, and it will culminate with ultraman using his death beam on the monster. i was thinking at the beginning of fight why didn't he just use the death beam right away, kill the monster, and cut short the stupid ultraman dying drama. typical jap kiddie bs.

and with 6.9 beams, monster will sure die. don't need 6.9 seconds of fighting nor 6.9% of episode.
