A 15-year-old schoolboy has denied five terrorism charges, including sharing a bomb-making video on an online chat group.
The youngster, who cannot be identified because of his age, is alleged to have twice posted a video titled ‘Must fight them or move ahead’ in a chat group on the Discord platform in February.
The court heard the video contains instructions on how to make the explosive TATP – also known as ‘Mother of Satan’.
The boy was also charged with one count for possession of the video on March 7 as well as two counts for possessing documents titled ‘Cooking recipes’ and ‘Explosive 111’ between March 1 and March 8.
Standing in the dock at Westminster Magistrates’ Court wearing dark clothes, the boy spoke to enter not guilty pleas to all five charges.
The teenager was arrested in St Albans, Hertfordshire, on March 7, and officers were given permission to detain him for a week for questioning, the Metropolitan Police said.
Scotland Yard previously said the charges relate to alleged Islamist extremism….
