Two men, aged 22 and 24, who are believed to be in connection with the death of a 51-year-old Indian male, were arrested on Wednesday.

The body of the Singaporean man was found in a flat at Block 62 Commonwealth Drive on August 19, 2012. He was pronounced dead by paramedics when they arrived at the scene at 2.10pm.

The police have classified the case as unnatural death.

Both suspects will be charged in court on August 24 for murder.

Police cordoned off an area of the sixth storey of Block 62, Commonwealth Drive for more than eight hours after a 51-year old man was found dead - standing in front of a wash basin in the kitchen - by his nephew at around 1.30pm on Sunday.

The nephew, a 39-year-old manager, tried to revive his uncle, but the bachelor was declared dead at the scene by paramedics.

Police have classified the case as an unnatural death.

Investigations are ongoing.

Two men were charged on Friday with the murder of a 51-year-old man. Dinesh Kumar Ruvy, 22, and Vikneswaran Ruvy, 24, are alleged to have killed Mr Rathkershahan Ananthan sometime between 2am on Aug 18 and 2.10pm on Aug 19. The charge sheets do not state the cause of death.

The duo was arrested on Wednesday and a district court ordered them to be remanded till Friday.

Police investigators were also allowed to take the duo to the crime scene.

On Sunday afternoon, the body of Mr Rathkershahan Ananthan was found slumped over the kitchen sink in his three-room flat in Block 62, Commonwealth Drive.
