SINGAPORE - A motorist and his passenger, both in their 70s, died after the car they were in skidded on Dec 28 in Adam Road.
In response to queries from The Straits Times, the police said the two fatalities were a 77-year-old driver and a 72-year-old woman.
The accident took place at about 6.10pm, and the car is believed to have skidded on the Adam Road stretch towards Lornie Road, the policeThe Singapore Civil Defence Force said the two victims died on the spot.

1. Gov starts to give concession card for seniors for transport. Make use of it.

2. Consider yourself lucky if you can still walk and eat properly. Leave the driving part to the younger ones.

3. Your eyesight and alertness will degrade. Driving is bad for yourself and other road users.

4. You should be mature enough not to show off your wealth.

Each 40 years has 1 leg
Each 60 years has 1.5 leg
Each 80 years has 2 leg

Dr M managed to build an extra leg which most people can't.

I would also encourage taking public transport after 60 to take advantage of concessions. Also seniors and retirees aren't in a rush and will be safer in a bus, mrt or taxi. Before 60, splurge a bit and buy more luxurious cars and go on road trips.
