KUALA LUMPUR - Four youths, believed to have been high on drugs, raped two women at a reflexology centre in Setapak, here, before robbing them on Sunday.
Kuala Lumpur Criminal Investigation Department chief Datuk Ku Chin Wah said the youths, who were armed with parang, also attacked two caretakers at the place in the 1.30am incident.
"They were very violent. After attacking the caretakers, they took turns on the two women before escaping with RM3,000 (S$1,200) in cash and valuables," Ku said.
Police, however, have identified one of the suspects from closed-circuit television camera footage.
The footage captured the images of three suspects. The CCTV grab was yesterday distributed to the media.
One picture showed one of the suspects wearing a blue T-shirt with a Superman logo while another picture showed two youths on a motorcycle.
Those with information on the suspects have been urged to contact the nearest police station immediately.
Meanwhile in an unrelated case, Ku said the remand order of a temple caretaker who was suspected of raping three women recently has been extended.
The caretaker who was in his 50s was arrested at a temple in Taman Sri Damansara early last week following three police reports lodged against him.
The victims had alleged that the temple caretaker had drugged them before raping them separately. They had allegedly gone to see him to rid themselves of bad luck.
