SINGAPORE: Police have arrested two persons for entering the casino at Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) using another person's identification documents in two separate cases in September last year.
Police said on September 1, 2011, a 35-year-old woman who was issued with a Self Exclusion Order by the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) was arrested after she used another person's identity card to enter the casino without paying the entry levy.
Preliminary investigations showed the suspect's friend had handed her identity card to the suspect for an administrative matter, and the suspect used it to enter the casino, without the friend's knowledge.
In a similar case on September 29, a 50-year-old man was arrested after used his wife's identity card to enter the casino.
He was also issued with a Self Exclusion Order by the NCPG and had used his wife's identity card without her knowledge.
The two will be charged in court on Friday.
