Show two things

1. High salary does not equate to high performance.

2. That the highest paid ministers in the world are grossly overpaid.

Shows how the followers of the MONGREL who bit his masters' hands LOUDHAILER chee soon juan and his lackeys will jump at any opportunity to insult the government. HKU and HKUST are not pushovers and to pip Tokyo and Kyoto universities is no mean feat.

I also think that Tokyo U (not that it is totally unbeatable) has dropped also because the bludgeoned domestic economy had them lowering entry standards for a bit in their bid to arrest the falling number of applicants as many of the prospective students that managed to graduate from high school have decided to make an earlier entry into the working world instead.
