Two charged over having paid sex with minors

Two men were charged separately in a district court on Tuesday with having commercial sex with minors.
Han Yam Meng, 34, a printer technician, is alleged to have paid $150 to a 17-year-old Vietnamese girl to have sex with her at a Geylang hotel on June 15.
A pre-trial conference is set for Sept 5.
In the other case, computer technician Peter Gerald Chang Liang Chieh, 43, allegedly paid $100 to have sex with a 16-year-old Vietnamese national at a premise in Lorong 28 Geylang, on May 25.
