A 45-year-old man and 57-year-old woman have been arrested for allegedly trying to enter the Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) casino using false identities, in two separate incidents.
In the first incident in June, the man had tampered with his identity card and tried to enter without paying the entry levy. The police also found out later that he had been issued with a Third Party Exclusion Order by the National Council on Problem Gambling.
He was detained by RWS security officers and handed over to the police.
In the second incident in July, the woman is believed to have tried to use her husband's identity card to enter the casino without his knowledge.
