Two arrested for robbing hawker stalls

SINGAPORE - Two 31-year-old men were arrested for allegedly robbing four hawkers stalls at food centers along both Jalan Bukit Merah and Bukit Merah Lane between Feb 10 and 14.
Owners of the four hawker stalls reported that valuables had been stolen from their stalls, including about S$1300 cash.
The two men were arrested at Lorong 12 Geylang on Feb 15, around 6.10pm. Investigations are ongoing.
If guilty, they may be fined, jailed for up to three years, or both.
