Two arrested for alleged cheating at play in MBS casino
SINGAPORE: A croupier and his female accomplice who allegedly cheated at play in the Marina Bay Sands (MBS) casino have been arrested.
The 31-year-old man who worked as a croupier at MBS is alleged to have colluded with the 29-year-old patron at the gaming table.
On June 18, the casino operator alerted the police that one of its croupiers and a patron were cheating the casino.
Both suspects will be charged in court on Thursday.
If found guilty, they each face a maximum fine of S$150,000 or a jail term of up to seven years, or both. - CNA/gn
