Every morning on bus service 188, this inconsiderate man stinks up the entire bus by openly eating his cup of noodles, says STOMPer Terence.
In an email to STOMP today (April 22), the STOMPer says:
“Every morning between 9 to 10am, if you take bus service 188 leaving Choa Chu Kang to somewhere after National University of Singapore, you will probably be watching and smelling a guy eating noodles on the bus in front of you!
“The guy always sits in the same seat, on the second (backward) row facing the passengers. As long as he opens the box and stirs the noodles, the pungent smell spreads out to the entire bus.
“He is totally ignorant of the passengers and will enjoy his food for about 20 minutes. Many passengers have to cover their noses trying to avoid the smell.
“Once, he even leisurely put his feet (with shoes) on the opposite seat.
“Something should be done to stop him from spoiling Singapore's hospitality image, and to maintain a comfortable or at least acceptable environment for passengers.”
