Trio beat boy, stripped him and filmed hour-long ordeal
They also tried to extort $800; 2 get reformative training, third to be sentenced next month

A 15-year-old boy was beaten, stripped and humiliated by three thugs who filmed his hour-long ordeal and then tried to extort $800 from him.

The trio took the boy to a deserted tennis court at the Jurong West Sports and Recreation Centre, where they rained punches and kicks on him before ordering him to strip to his underwear.

They made him lie down and took turns standing on a metal drain cover that was placed on his naked chest.

The victim was then ordered to take off his briefs and wear them on his head, while shouting 'underwear king' in Mandarin. He was then told to run 20 laps around the tennis court, and was also made to do star jumps.

Three youths are being charged for beating and stripping a 15-year-old boy, then extorting money from him.

The incident happened in April, at a deserted tennis court at the Jurong west Sports and Recreation Centre.

The three youths, Lin Wei Sheng, 20, Wang Yi Peng, 18, and Hong Quan Yang, 19, had threatened to beat the boy until he gets warded into intensive care.

At the empty tennis court, they punched and kicked the boy on his face and abdomen, then made him strip to his underwear and lie on the ground.

One of them then sat on his stomach and punch him on his chest and shoulders. After that, they placed a metal drain cover on his naked chest and took turns to step on the drain cover.

They also made the boy take off his underwear and wear it on his head, then run eight laps around the tennis court. The trio flicked ash from lit cigarettes onto the boy's face and mouth, as they filmed the hour-long ordeal with a mobile phone.

After the bullying, the youths even tried to extort $800 from the boy with threats of more violence. Two of the accused, Lin and Hong have been sentenced to reformative training, while Wang, who faces more charges, will be sentenced on the 17th of next month.

Wang is charged with extorting $500 and $800 from the 15-year-old boy, wrongfully restraining and causing hurt on another 15-year-old victim, and the theft of a bottle of beverage from a convenience store.

What a shame!!!
I am sure these young "good-for-nothing-cowards" are students from some school.
Who is responsible for the discipline at this school? Is it the Discipline Master or the Operations Manager?
Principal to jawab (answer.....)
Both of them failed in discharging their duties.
MOE to conduct investigations....
What about the Principal?
He / She should be taken to task by the MOE for loosing the ability and credibilty to lead.

Why was the deserted tennis court not secured by security guards?
Why did the police allow the tennis court to be "deserted of security"?
What about our great "am-pais" from the "Pai Kia Dept (SSB) of the Police.
What are they doing all along?
Have they investigated the young blokes for suspected SS involvement under the Societies Act???

What the hell are your undercover people and informers doing?
You don't even know the existence of such a place in a small nation like Singapore.
How can you compare yourself (if your hide is thick) with the DEA..........
The Police, CNB, SSB ought to know that such deserted places can be used as venues for SS Initiation Ceremonies, drug-taking, rape of vulnerable females and other group-related illegal activity....
The SIRD of the Police department has a lot to answer along with the Divisional Commander and other related people.
Mat Selamat issue is still fresh. Hope he was not staying in this deserted stadium......
