Commuters on a Circle Line train were left confused this morning (May 13) when alternate doors of the train simply would not open.

STOMPer Kenneth, who was on the train at the time of the incident, said:

"I boarded a Circle Line train from Bishan headed for Marymount, but as it turned back and reached Serangoon, the alternate train doors didn't open, as shown in the picture.

"It left quite a confusion among commuters.

"I got off at Paya Lebar and saw SMRT staff in the train handling the matter."
